Zamil Plastic Industries Limited (ZPIL)
is a member of the "ZAMIL GROUP
HOLDING COMPANY", one of the most
diversified and leading industrial group
in the Middle East & Gulf region. ZPIL
itself is recognized as one of the largest
plastic converters in the Middle East.
People and technology: ZPIL employs an
experienced and talented staff of more than
400 people. It is a fact that has not gone
unrecognized with numerous awards having
been won over the years. Among these has
been Saudi Arabia’s “King Award”, for a
model factory, “Ministry of Industry Award”
for plant maintenance and Saudi “Consulting
House Award” for industrial safety.
Senior personnel have been drawn from all
over the world, resulting in a highly
experienced management team. Special
training programs are regularly conducted
among the workforce to further develop
skills. Among these are quality management
programs to ensure that everyone
recognizes the importance of quality at all
stages of the manufacturing process.
Activities
ZPIL started operations in 1980 with only three machines, and today has two manufacturing units equipped with highly sophisticated machines to convert a wide range of products through different plastic processing technologies.
In 2007, ZPIL has taken further step and developed a new joint venture with ALPLA, where ALPLA is considered one of the world largest companies with over 120 plants in 37 countries, specializing in producing Bottles, Preforms, Caps and closures.

Product Development & Design
Capabilities: ZPIL has the facility to
design and develop for its clients, products
to meet all their needs. Product prototypes
are produced based on a design chosen by the
client. Once approved, tool or mould design
drawings using computer aided design systems
are prepared for mould fabrication.
Product Range: ZPIL has a wide range of
products available includes custom molded
products such as electrical appliances parts for air conditioners,
lighting diffusers and sewing machine carriers etc; Disposable
packaging for juices, dairy products, dates;
Containers for chemicals, paints and adhesives; Consumer products
for household and consumer applications, and Preforms for
mineral water, carbonated beverages bottles
etc.
Advanced Technology Equipment: ZPIL
recognizes that the packaging of today won’t
necessarily be the packaging of tomorrow;
therefore the company is continually seeking
ways to improve existing product and new
ones. This is achieved not only through
research and development but also by
investment in advanced technology equipment.
Resources are increased, mindful of
continued growth in demand for plastic
packaging products; the amount of equipment
is growing all the time. Material all specially tailored to suit different
applications.
