Zamil Plastic Industries Limited (ZPIL) is one of the Zamil Group affiliates companies and a member of Zamil Group Holding Company.

Today, ZPIL has two manufacturing units equipped with highly sophisticated machines to convert a wide range of products through different plastic processing technologies.

Zamil Plastic is one of the most advanced enterprises in the world specializing in flexible plastic packaging materials & production. It was established back in 1980 and went through a long development process to become todays leading manufacturer for the Middle East and the world.

In 1980 on the eve of industrial development with in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the outskirts of Dammam where the company specializing in plastic production and manufacturing was organized. Both PP and PE were stocked for production purposes and the main supplier at the time was SABIC from Saudi Arabia. In the plastic containers racks was transformed into an Injection Molding plant that started to produce: Rigid Plastic Containers, Rigid Plastic Crates, Plastic Engineering and other Plastic chemical products that were of high demand in the Middle Eastern Region.

In 1986 at the Dammam Plastic plant of the first of its kind in the Kingdom, facilities for production of plastic cases  hard or thin from the with the capacity of 600 tons per year as a start off.

In 1986 the technology of plastic production was introduced owing to the efforts of young chemists’, who graduated from top Saudi Universities in a mission to create a larger Saudi workforce that will advance the company to new horizons. Our new production allowed the country to reduce purchasing expensive imported product.

In twenty seven years the company had become under Zamil Group. Its capacity reached of plastic conversion solutions to many with in the first year of operation. Shopping for plastic solutions was put into operation with the capacity of 1 million tons. The technology to produce IM and Plastic packs was developed as a base on PE & PP which gave the output of the core of our product offering range: these products were used in the paint and automotive industries in parallel. Growth of plastic and chemical products manufacturing continued back then.
